Hi,
for a small elektronic projekt I need to convert 5Vdc to 22-24Vdc at 100mA
max.
It has to be done on PCB and the area needs to be as small as possible.
Are there any special IC's available for this?

Thanks,
Marc

Hi,
google "voltage doublers"
comes to mind.

Yes, google LM2577 for example (see p19 of the datasheet or use the
webench facility). (Or you could use a 555 and a transformer plus a
small handful of other components). There are two basic approaches:
switch-mode "boost"/"step-up" DC-DC converters, and simple oscillators
feeding a small transformer (google for "DC-DC inverter"); there is
another method, not requiring coils, that is not really suited to the
amount of voltage increase you need.

Hope this helps,
Mark
